TR 256 & TR 257 Improvement Project

The Board of Township Trustees of Bennington Township, Morrow County, Ohio is inviting sealed bids for the TR 256 & TR 257 Improvement Project. This project involves the resurfacing and curb and gutter replacement of approximately 0.77 miles (4,090 feet) of Township Roads 256 and 257 within the Bennington Industrial Park. Bids will be accepted until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, and must be hand-delivered to the Bennington Township Meeting Hall located at 4442 State Route 229, Marengo, Ohio 43334, between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on that date. Bids submitted by mail, e-mail, or facsimile will not be accepted, and bids received after the deadline will also be disqualified. The public opening of the bids will occur immediately after the submission deadline at the same location. A pre-bid conference is scheduled to be held virtually on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Interested bidders will receive a meeting invitation upon requesting a bid package. Bid packages can be requested via email at team@plan4land.net, including the requesting company's name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address. Each bid must include a bid guaranty of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, which can be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit made payable to Bennington Township. Bidders and subcontractors must adhere to prevailing wage requirements and nondiscrimination requirements as specified in Ohio Revised Code. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder, and must be executed within thirty (30) days of the bid opening, or the project may be re-advertised for bids at the discretion of the Board. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities.
