Todd County High School Renovation

The Todd County School District 66-1, referred to as the Owner, is seeking sealed bids for the renovation project of Todd County High School located in Mission, South Dakota. Bids must be submitted by 11:00 a.m. (MST) on September 2, 2026, at the office of Uda Architecture + Design in Rapid City, SD, where they will be publicly opened and read. Access to the bid opening via Zoom is available through a provided link. A single contract will be awarded for general construction work. Bidders are required to submit their bids in accordance with the forms included in the contract documents. Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to Todd County School District 66-1, clearly marked on the outside lower left corner with 'Mission High School Renovation'. The responsibility for ensuring that mailed bids arrive before the deadline lies with the bidder. Contract documents, including the bid proposal, drawings, and project manual, are available for examination at the office of Uda Architecture + Design. They can be obtained electronically at no cost by contacting Uda Architecture + Design at 605-721-0237 and providing a valid email address for the download link. Each bidder must include bid security with their submission, payable to Todd County School District 66-1, in one of the following forms: a certified check, cashier's check, or draft for five percent (5%) of the base bid plus alternates, or a bid bond on AIA Form A310 for ten percent (10%) of the base bid plus alternates. The successful bidder will also need to provide a contract performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Bidders may not withdraw their bids for 30 days following the bid opening without a written request and the Owner's consent. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder as determined by the Owner.
