Phase 2 Gymnasium Renovation

The Newton Recreation Center is requesting sealed bids for the Phase 2 of their 4-phase plan to upgrade the Gymnasium. This phase involves enclosing the windows on the north side of the gym. Bid packets can be obtained at the Newton Recreation Center located at 1814 Newton Ransom Blvd., Clarks Summit during regular office hours or can be requested via email at NewtonRecCenter@gmail.com. The successful bidder will also need to provide a performance bond equal to 100 percent of the contract price as security. Bids are due by 12 noon on Monday, September 14, 2026. All submissions must be sealed and clearly marked on the envelope as 'Phase 2 Gymnasium Renovation'. The bids will be opened and may be awarded during the General Meeting of the Newton Township Board of Supervisors on the same day at 6:30 PM, which will take place at 1528 Newton Ransom Blvd., Clarks Summit.
