20689 - French Meadows Ecological Forest Restoration - Biomass Removal Project

Placer County is soliciting bids for a contractor(s) to furnish all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, tools and services necessary to perform project tasks as described in this bid.The Contractor shall implement biomass removal activities within the French Meadows project area on the Tahoe National Forest by processing and transporting approximately 2,520 green tons of deteriorated whole log biomass. Work includes loading, hauling, chipping, and delivery of processed biomass to the Rio Bravo–Rocklin biomass facility. All activities must comply with the French Meadows Project NEPA decision, and follow all procedures related to removing forest products from national forest lands. There will be an escorted Pre-Bid Job Walk into the Tahoe National Forest in the area of French Meadows to view and inspect various sample project treatment areas on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 9:00am - 3:00pm.
