2026 Target Area Street Resurfacing Project

The City of Massillon, Ohio is seeking sealed bids for the 2026 Target Area Street Resurfacing Project. The work includes all labor, material, and services necessary for the project as detailed in the Contract Documents prepared by the City. Bids must be submitted by 1:30 PM local time on September 16, 2026, at the Office of the Director of Public Safety and Service located at the Municipal Government Center Annex, 151 Lincoln Way East, Massillon, OH 44646. Bids can be hand delivered to the City Hall mail slot or mailed to the same address. Late bids will not be accepted, and they will be opened and read after the submission deadline. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and will award contracts to the lowest and best bidder(s). For inquiries regarding the project, contact Gregory A. McCue, Asst. City Engineer, at (330) 830-1722. Bidders can obtain a complete set of Contract Documents by contacting AA Blueprint at 2757 Gilchrist Road, Akron, Ohio 44305, or by calling (330) 794-8803. A fee applies for obtaining these documents, which is non-refundable. Bidders must include a Bid Guaranty in the form of a bond or a certified check equal to 10% of the bid amount, along with a liability insurance certificate. Each proposal must include the full name of the submitting party and evidence of experience with similar projects. Compliance with Ohio Administrative Code and federal regulations is required, including the use of Ohio products and labor. The project is federally assisted and subject to prevailing wage rates under the Davis-Bacon Act. Bidders must not withdraw their bids within 60 days after the bid opening.
