M/WBE Opportunity  Cube Construction Services LLC is soliciting proposals for the NYC DDC Washington Irving Branch Library Reconstruction project, located at 360 Irving Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11237.Project Owner: DDCProject Labor Agreement is Applicable.Work Location: 360 Irving Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11237Working Time: Regular hours, Coordination required for After Hours work ifrequired. Demolition Selective demolition of existing ceilings, walls, wall finishes, wall base, and floor finishes as indicated Selective demolition of doors, frames, and hardware Remove fixtures, countertops, cabinets, sinks, kitchen appliances, and accessories Demolish exterior stairs, landings, railings, curbs, and associated foundations   Demolish portions of ramps, landings, masonry walls, and  coping as required Remove concrete paving and pads as required for waterproofing Perform slab and selective structural demolition   Core drill and provide openings as required   Concrete Furnish and install cast-in-place and precast concrete, including forming, reinforcing, and finishing. Install new sidewalks per the plans, repair/replace curbs, and pour new concrete for the entry stair and site slabs.   Masonry Perform masonry including CMU work, repointing and exterior stone cladding. Metals Furnish and install structural steel framing and metal fabrications, including all interior and exterior railings. Millwork Furnish and install rough carpentry, sheathing, and architectural casework including cabinets. Waterproofing Perform waterproofing at foundation walls as indicated in the contract documents. Roofing Provide slate roofing systems including waterproofing and insulation. Furnish and install leaders and gutters.  Openings Furnish and install hollow metal doors and frames, aluminum storefronts,access doors, door hardware, glazing, and louvers.   Finishes Provide and install metal framing and gypsum board systems. Provide and install acoustical ceiling systems including grid and tiles.   Provide and install ceramic tile systems.   Provide and install resilient flooring and base.   Provide all interior and exterior painting.   Specialties Furnish and install all interior and exterior signage systems. Furnish and install toilet and bath accessories.   Furnish and install exterior sound screens. Furnish and install simulated stone countertops.   Plumbing Demolish existing plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping as indicated Install complete domestic water, sanitary, waste & vent, and storm systems Provide all piping, valves, hangers, supports, insulation, and identification Furnish and install electric domestic water heaters Furnish and install all plumbing fixtures and accessories Perform testing and commissioning HVAC Demolish existing HVAC systems as required Install complete HVAC systems including equipment Provide ductwork, hydronic, refrigerant, and gas piping Install air distribution system Install DDC controls, dampers, and instrumentation Provide insulation, vibration control, and system identification Perform testing and commissioning Electrical Demolish existing electrical systems as required Install complete power distribution systems Provide lighting systems and lighting controls Perform testing and commissioning Communications Install conduits, pathways, cable trays, and supports Provide structured cabling systems Install patch panels, terminations, and devices Electronic Safety and Security Install fire alarm, access control, and surveillance systems Provide all devices, power supplies, and system interfaces Integrate systems including access control software and database management Perform testing and commissioning Earthwork Excavate and backfill near foundation walls for the waterproofing scope of work as indicated in the contract documents Provide benching and shoring for excavation at foundation walls for waterproofing Exterior Improvements Furnish and install decorative metal fences and gates Perform soil preparation and install turf, grasses, and plantings Minority / Women Business Enterprise contracting goals (MWBE) Total MWBE Goals: 26.00% This is a subcontract opportunity issued by CUBE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES LLC
