Asphalt Paving and Seal Coating at 300 Acre Property

Rancho California Water District (District) is requesting bids from qualified contractors for construction of approximately 2,200 linear feet of new asphalt roadway over an existing dirt roadway located on District-owned property. The new roadway will connect to an existing asphalt roadway and complete the remaining unpaved portion of the route.The work generally includes subgrade preparation and compaction, placement of 5 inches of compacted hot mix asphalt (HMA), roadway tie-in to existing pavement, pavement edge backfill and compaction, testing, and seal coating of approximately 22,500 square feet of existing asphalt pavement.Bidders shall provide separate lump-sum pricing for a 12-foot-wide Base Bid and a 15-foot-wide Alternate Bid. Both alternatives include the required seal-coat work. The District will select and award one of the two alternatives.
