Snow Plow and Ice Removal IFB (26DJL0004)

The University at Buffalo, hereafter known as the "University," requires Snow Plowing and Ice Removal Services at the following locations:   Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (JSMBS), 955 Main Street Research Institute on Addictions (RIA), 1021 Main Street Educational Opportunity Center (EOC), 555 Ellicott Street Gateway Building, 77 Goodell Street   The Contractor will be responsible for salting, snow plowing, and ice removal from parking lots, sidewalks, loading docks, building entrances, and other designated areas as identified in the applicable site maps. Services may be performed through mechanical and/or manual means. The Contractor shall provide these services on an "as-needed" basis when two (2) inches of snow accumulates, any amount of ice accumulates, or as directed by the University Contract Manager. Snow must be hauled from the sites when excessive accumulation occurs or as directed by the Contract Manager.   Pursuant to New York State procurement guidelines, this solicitation is a set-aside and participation is strictly limited to vendors certified as New York State Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) and/or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB).
