Snow Plowing _ Removal Services Kenosha & Racine Campuses

Gateway Technical College is seeking proposals for snow plowing/removal services for the Kenosha and Racine campuses and centers for a three (3) year period, with the option to renew for up to four (4) additional one-year-periods. The starting date is to be determined at contract award. Campus / Center areas are listed as follows: KENOSHA CAMPUS, 3520 30TH Ave, Kenosha, WI Main Campus Park lots and roadways 9 acres Parking spaces 1102 Sidewalk areas 1.96 Administration Center/Inspire Center/ECP 3 acres Parking spaces 96 One (1) access road 600 ft Gateway Technical College maintenance crew will plow and maintain all sidewalks on the Kenosha Campus. On occasions where snowfall is heavy, contractors may be required to assist, if requested. Horizon Center, 4940 88th Ave., Kenosha, WI 53144 Aircraft ramp, parking lot and paved roadway 3.54 acres Parking spaces 106 The contractor will be required to cooperate with airport employees in snow plowing and snow removal operations to prevent damage to aircraft. Hours of operation will be verified by the owner. Note that although the Kenosha Campus and Horizon Center specifications are written separately, it is our intent at this time to award them both to the same contractor. RACINE CAMPUS, 1001 South Main Street, Racine, WI Includes the area from Pershing Drive on the east, Eleventh Street on the south, Main Street on the west from Eleventh Street to Tenth Street, and Lake Avenue on the west from Tenth Street to Ninth Street on the north. Snow is to be plowed on all sidewalks and entrances at 3" of snow accumulation or more. Snow is to be plowed in parking lots A, B, D, and the Lake Ave. service lot at 3" of snow accumulation or more. Snow is to be plowed at I" of snow accumulation or more in parking lot C, including the entrances from Pershing Drive and Eleventh Street. SC JOHNSON iMET CENTER, 2324 Renaissance Blvd., Sturtevant, WI All parking lots, the sidewalk, east entrance, west patio, and the shipping and receiving area are to be plowed at I" of snow accumulation or more. Note that although the Racine Campus and iMET Center specifications are written separately, it is our intent at this time to award them both to the same contractor.
