PUBLIC NOTICENOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BIDSacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) announces that it will seek bids for the work entitled:INSTRUMENT HOUSE ROOFING REPLACEMENT AT 2901 FREEPORT BLVD. (4TH AVENUE/WAYNE HULTGREN LIGHT RAIL STATION) Bids must be submitted through SacRT’s PlanetBids Vendor Portal no later than 2:00 p.m. on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly available to view on the PlanetBids site. General work description: Contractor must remove and dispose of the existing roofing system and install a new complete watertight warrantied roofing system at the SacRT Instrument House (IH) located at 2901 Freeport Boulevard (4th Avenue), Sacramento, CA 95818. The work that is the subject of this bid is a public work within the meaning of Chapter 1 (beginning with Section 1720) of Part 7 of Division 2 of the California Labor Code to which Section 1771 (Payment of Prevailing Wages) applies.The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $8,000.Contractor license classification at the time of award must be Class A, Class B or Class C-39. Each subcontractor performing services under this Contract must perform services under Contractor’s direction and control unless the subcontractor is a licensed contractor performing work within the scope of its license.
