Woodstock 2026 Street Improvement Program

The City of Woodstock is inviting sealed bids for the Woodstock 2026 Street Improvement Program. Bids must be submitted by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, at City Hall located at 121 W Calhoun St, Woodstock, IL 60098. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately after the submission deadline. Bidders should submit their bids in a sealed envelope addressed to the City Engineer, clearly marked in the lower left-hand corner as follows: BID: City of Woodstock 2026 Street Improvement Program. The project entails providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other items for various tasks including hot-mix asphalt removal, full depth reclamation, base course preparation, grading, and the installation of new curb and sidewalk. The contract documents will be available for inspection and purchase starting August 25, 2026, at Trotter and Associates, Inc., located at 38 W. Grand Ave., Ste 300, Fox Lake, IL 60020. Interested parties should contact Heidi Patla at h.patla@trotter-inc.com to schedule an appointment or to purchase the documents. Both hard and electronic copies can be obtained, with costs of $150.00 for hard copies and $50.00 for electronic copies. Payment must be made in cash, certified check, or money order, and is non-refundable. Bidders must provide bid security equal to five percent of the bid amount in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The successful bidder will also need to furnish a contract bond equal to 100% of the total contract price and comply with various provisions including the McHenry County Prevailing Wages and the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to Cade Sundstedt at c.sundstedt@trotter-inc.com by 3:00 PM on September 4, 2026. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and will ensure that the contract is awarded without discrimination.
