Request For Proposals Activity Bus

Niobrara Public Schools in Nebraska is inviting sealed bids for the procurement of one (1) new activity bus intended for student transportation to various athletic, academic, and school events. The bus must be a new model from the current year or newer and must comply with all requirements set forth by the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE), as well as all relevant Nebraska statutes and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) at the time of delivery. The minimum specifications include: a properly equipped school activity bus that meets NDE Rule 91 & Rule 92 standards, commercial-grade seating with necessary safety restraints, air conditioning, heating, and defrost systems, emergency exits and complete safety equipment in accordance with state and federal regulations, a backup camera, and required safety lighting. Additionally, the bus should have adequate storage for activity equipment and come with a full manufacturer warranty and service support.Sealed proposals must contain pricing, detailed specifications, warranty information, and a delivery timeline.The deadline for submission is September 14, 2026, at 5:00 P.M.
