2026 Stormwater Improvements

The City of Shoreview, Minnesota is seeking sealed bids for the construction of the 2026 Stormwater Improvements project, identified as City Project 26-10B. The work involves furnishing all labor and materials to complete the project in accordance with the provided plans and specifications. The estimated quantities of work include the removal of bituminous pavement, excavation, installation of PVC watermain, concrete curb and gutter, traffic control, and other related tasks. Bidders are required to comply with the provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor statute. Additionally, contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors with 40 or more full-time employees must submit their affirmative action certification for the current period after their bid, prior to construction. The planholders list, addenda, and bid tabulation will be available online at mn-ci-shoreview.app.rtvision.com. All addenda will be emailed to planholders, and bidders must acknowledge receipt of all addenda before the bid opening. Bidding documents are available at the city engineer's office and can be viewed at the city hall public works department. All bidders must register and download project-related items from the city's Connex page for a fee of $25. Bids will only be accepted electronically from contractors listed as planholders on the city's Connex site. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the City of Shoreview for five percent (5%) of the bid amount, which will be forfeited as liquidated damages if the bidder fails to enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond upon acceptance of the bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid deemed in their best interest. The bids are expected to be considered at the City Council meeting on September 8, 2026.
