REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONSProcurement of New Battery-Electric Hybrid Rubber Tyred Gantry Container Handling Gantry Cranes  Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans (Board) is requesting the submittal of qualifications from crane manufacturers who can provide new battery-electric hybrid rubber tyred gantry container handling cranes and related parts.  All Request for Qualifications (RFQ) documents will be available for download via Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com on Monday, August 24, 2026. The RFQ documents may also be obtained from the SEBconnect App, available on both the Apple and Google play platforms.  Written proposals, shall be submitted electronically via www.centralbidding.com  no later than 11:30 AM (CST), on Monday, September 21, 2026, to be considered for the contract. Failure to submit required information by the deadline will cause disqualification and removal from further consideration on this Project. No information may be changed or submitted after the deadline. All questions, correspondence, inquiries, and other communications regarding this procurement shall be directed to Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans, Procurement Department, 1350 Port of New Orleans Place, New Orleans, LA 70130 or procurement@portnola.com no later than 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday, September 11, 2026.  Answers to all questions will be provided electronically at www.centralbidding.com and on the SEBconnect App, without regard to which proposer submitted the questions, in the form of an addendum provided to all Respondents who are listed with the Board as having received the RFQ. The Board shall not be responsible for any oral instruction.
