RFQ - As-Needed Vehicle Abatement Services

The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish a list of qualified service providers (“Respondents”) to perform vehicle abatement services for the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office (EDSO). Services include, at a minimum, the removal, storage, and disposal of automobiles, motorcycles, trucks, sport utility vehicles (SUVs), boats, trailers, recreational vehicles, and related parts or debris from private property or public streets on an as needed basis. The County does not guarantee any specific number of Respondents that will be selected for the Qualified List (QL), which will remain valid for three (3) years from the date of award.Placement on the QL does not ensure any minimum or maximum amount of work. Assignments may be made either by selecting a Respondent from the QL and negotiating a contract directly, or by requesting informal submittals from at least three (3) Respondents for specific tasks. Contract selection will be based on experience, expertise required, current workload, ability to respond, and other relevant criteria. This RFQ outlines the scope of work, submittal requirements, and instructions for preparing and submitting a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ).
