Bidders can obtain bid specifications and packets in person at the Elwood Fire Protection District located at 309 W. Mississippi St., Elwood, IL 60421, from Monday to Friday between 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM.A mandatory preconstruction meeting is scheduled for September 1, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the same address.Bids must be submitted by 9:00 AM on September 8, 2026. Bidders may mail their submissions to Elwood Fire Protection District, 309 Mississippi Street, Elwood, IL 60421, or deliver them in person during the specified hours. The Fire District will not accept bids after the deadline.Bids will be opened at the Elwood FPD on September 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
