City of Canton Kilroy Lift Station Parking Lot Improvements

The City of Canton is seeking bids for the Kilroy Lift Station Parking Lot Improvements project. Sealed bids will be accepted at the City Clerk's Office located on the second floor of City Hall, 2 N. Main Street, Canton, IL 61520, until 10:00 AM (CDST) on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. At that time, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Directors Room (Lower Level) of City Hall.A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Kilroy Lift Station. This meeting is optional and will provide an opportunity to discuss the project and ask questions.Bidders must comply with all State of Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, ensuring that all laborers, workmen, and mechanics are paid at least the prevailing wage as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor.The City of Canton reserves the right to reject any or all bids and may hold bids for up to thirty (30) days for review and qualification purposes before awarding the contract.Bid documents can be obtained by contacting Caitlyn Leingang, finance director, at 309-649-5334 or via email at cleingang@cantoncityhall.org.
