REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - RFP 27-33-01 Department of Corrections Cost Driver Study

The Alaska State Legislature, Legislative Budget and Audit Committee is seeking sealed proposals from qualified firms to perform an independent study to identify, evaluate, and analyze the primary cost drivers within the State of Alaska’s Department of Corrections (DOC). The purpose of the study is to provide the Legislature with an objective, comprehensive assessment of the factors contributing to increases in DOC’s expenditures, to identify opportunities for cost savings, and to inform policy and budget decisions for long-term fiscal sustainability.   Please see attached: RFP 27-33-01 Department of Correction Cost Driver Study for more details about the solicitation.Important Notices to potential Offerors:Pre-Proposal Teleconference: All Prospective Offerors are encouraged to call into the pre-proposal teleconference. This pre-proposal teleconference will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM, Alaska Time.
