The City of Cincinnati is inviting qualified bidders for the HAM-CINCY EGGLESTON RPP project, which involves rehabilitating Eggelston Avenue from Pete Rose Way to Court Street and resurfacing 4th Street from Pike Street to Central Avenue. The scope of work includes full-depth pavement repairs, planing the existing asphalt wearing course, placing an intermediate course of asphalt concrete, repairing deteriorated curbs, constructing curb ramps, concrete walk, and driveway aprons where necessary, performing inlet adjustments, adjusting utility castings to grade, resurfacing the entire pavement with asphaltic concrete, performing necessary pavement marking work, installing raised pavement markers, and replacing traffic signal loop detectors where applicable.Bidders are encouraged to contact the Office of the City Purchasing Agent at 513-352-3209 to obtain copies of the bidding documents or visit the City's Purchasing website at https://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/noncms/cmgr/business-opportunities/. Vendor registration is required.This project is funded in part by the Federal Highway Administration and is subject to Federal Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program requirements. Bids must include the electronic submission of the SBE Utilization Plan at or within two hours following the bid opening. All bidders must be ODOT pre-qualified for the specified type of work and comply with all applicable federal requirements.Online bids will be accepted through the City of Cincinnati's Vendor Self Service website at https://vss.cincinnati-oh.gov/vssprod/Advantage4 until September 15, 2026, at 12:00 noon local time. Bids must be accompanied by a bid surety of not less than 10% of the bid amount, and the successful bidder will be required to provide a performance surety of not less than 100% of the contract value. Bidders must adhere to the provisions in the City of Cincinnati Municipal Code regarding the Equal Employment Opportunity Program contained in Chapter 325 (Ordinance 331-1999).
