Highland High School Project

Metcon, Inc. is acting on behalf of Harnett County Schools to receive sealed bids from prequalified 1st tier contractors for the Highland High School project. The bids are due on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Harnett County Schools Maintenance Office located at 1500 South Main Street, Lillington, NC 27546. The bids will be publicly opened and read immediately after the deadline. A virtual bid opening will also take place via Zoom at the same time. If needed, a re-bid will occur on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the same location and time. The project involves constructing a comprehensive high school campus, approximately 248,493 square feet, which will include various educational and recreational facilities, along with necessary site development and infrastructure. The project will require complete structural and architectural construction, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and more. An open pre-bid meeting will be held in person and virtually on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the same location to discuss project-specific questions and bidding procedures.
