The Port Authority of Allegheny County, doing business as Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT), is seeking electronic proposals for several items. Proposals must be submitted online at PRT's Ebusiness website. The deadline for submission is 11:00 AM on September 9, 2026, with bid openings occurring at 11:15 AM on the same day via Microsoft Teams video conferencing. The items include March Networks Video Surveillance Equipment, Asbestos-Free Brake Blocks Assembled on Shoes, and Fastener Supply Service. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held for each item on August 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM, also via Microsoft Teams. Attendance is not mandatory but strongly encouraged. Bidders are advised that no proposals may be withdrawn for 75 days after the bid opening. Questions regarding the bids will not be entertained within five business days of the bid opening. All contracts may be subject to financial assistance from the United States Department of Transportation and must comply with Equal Employment Opportunity laws. Bidders are responsible for expenses related to performance bonds and insurance, which must be included in the proposal pricing. The Port Authority will ensure that disadvantaged business enterprises have full opportunity to submit bids and will not discriminate based on race, color, or national origin. The Board of PRT reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
