Darke County PY2025 Brownfield Remediation Program Cooper Farms Union City Mill Demolition

The Darke County Board of Commissioners, acting as the contracting authority, is seeking sealed bids for the demolition of a vacant mill structure located at 210 East Elm Street, Union City, Ohio, owned by Cooper Farms, Inc. Bids must be submitted to the Darke County Board of Commissioners at their office located at 520 South Broadway Street, Greenville, OH 45331, by 1:00 p.m. (local time) on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1:30 p.m. on the same day. Late bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened. Bidders should mark their submissions as 'Darke County PY2025 Brownfield Remediation Program-Cooper Farms Union City Mill Demolition' and include their name and address. All bids must be signed and submitted using the designated bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents. Additionally, each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond for 100% of the total bid amount or a certified check for at least 10% of the total bid amount, as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The Bid security must be issued by a Surety Company licensed in Ohio. The successful bidder will also need to provide a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the bid amount. Bidding Documents can be reviewed and/or obtained electronically from the Darke County Grants Office at 520 South Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
