NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that bids will be received NO LATER THAN 2:00 P.M. September 30, 2026 and should be addressed as: KT# 26-057 Ruby Creek Park and Ride Construction Kitsap Transit is requesting bids from qualified Contractors to construct a 273 stall park and ride north of SW Sedgwick Road at the Sidney Road SW intersection in Port Orchard. This project is partially funded by the Federal Transit Administration and Contractor will be required to comply with all FTA clauses and certifications. As required by RCW 36.04.320, 15% of total labor hours must be performed by qualified apprentices. Interested parties can obtain a copy of the specifications by emailing Patrick Rogers at patrickr@kitsaptransit.com Kitsap Transit in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
