Veil Road & Spring Street Stormwater Project

Scalp Level Borough is seeking bids for the construction of the Veil Road & Spring Street Stormwater Project, Contract No. 7250-26-01. Bids will be accepted at the Scalp Level Borough office until Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. local time, when they will be publicly opened and read aloud.The project involves the installation of approximately 1,485 linear feet of plastic stormwater piping, ranging from 12 to 18 inches in diameter, along with 19 stormwater inlets and necessary appurtenances. All materials, equipment, supplies, and labor required for the construction as detailed in the Contract Documents must be provided by the contractor.A pre-bid conference is scheduled for Tuesday, September 08, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the project location. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory.Bidders must purchase bid documents from The EADS Group, Inc. to qualify for bidding. The documents can be obtained at their office by appointment. Printed copies are available for $100.00, and electronic versions for $25.00, both prices are non-refundable and include sales tax. Payment should be made to The EADS Group, Inc.Before the contract award, the successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, along with proof of insurance as specified in the contract documents. Compliance with state regulations and submission of a non-collusion affidavit is required. The project is partially funded by a Local Share Account Grant and local funds, and the Owner retains the right to reject any or all bids.
