Request For Qualifications For Construction Management, Inspection, And Testing Services For The Second St And Fourth St Intersection Improvements Project

The City of San Rafael (City) hereby requests Statements of Qualifications (Statement) for a team of professionals to provide construction management, inspection, and material testing services for the Second St. and Fourth St. Intersection Improvements Project (the “Project”). The Project scope of work consists of improvements to the multi-legged intersection of Second Street and Fourth Street at the City’s westerly gateway. The Project will reconfigure the intersection, extend the Cross Marin Bikeway, and improve access and safety for pedestrians. The Project limits include the intersection of Second Street, Fourth Street, Marquard Avenue, and West End Avenue. The Project is a congested intersection consisting of a principal arterial and a minor arterial roadway meeting a frontage road and residential streets. The Project limits see an upwards of 45,000 vehicle trips per day.
