Sealed bids for Bulk Sulfuric Acid will be received at the office of the City Clerk, located at 100 E. First Street, Grand Island, Nebraska 68801, until Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 2:15 p.m. local time. The bids must be delivered FOB the City of Grand Island, with freight prepaid. At this time, the bids will be publicly opened in the Grand Island City Hall City Clerk's Office on the first floor. If submitting by mail, an original and one copy of the bid must be included.Bid packages and any addenda can also be accessed online at www.grand-island.com/events under the bid opening date. Bidders can download the bidding documents, plans, and specifications from the QuestCDN website at www.QuestCDN.com for a small fee. When submitting through QuestCDN, one original document of the bid must be uploaded. Bids submitted after the specified time will not be considered.Each bidder is required to submit with their bid a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the City of Grand Island Treasurer in an amount no less than five percent (5%) of the bid price. The Purchaser reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept whichever bid is deemed to be in the best interest of the City, at its sole discretion.No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days following the bid opening date.
