The Erie Water Works is inviting sealed bids for two contracts related to janitorial services. The first contract is for janitorial services at the Chestnut Street Campus/12th Street, and the second is for janitorial services at the RSW Water Treatment Plant/Lab Area.There will be a mandatory walk-through of all locations available by appointment on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 9:00 A.M. starting at 240 West 12th Street, Erie, PA 16501. Interested bidders should contact Ann Whipple at (814) 870-8016 to schedule the appointment.Bids must include a certified check or bid bond as security, with a minimum amount of $1,000. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Erie Water Works' John J. McCormick, Jr. Administration Building on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. prevailing time. Mailed bids should be directed to the attention of Ann Whipple, Purchasing Manager.Specifications can be obtained free of charge from the Erie Water Works' Purchasing Office at the Administration Building during business hours, or an electronic copy can be requested by calling (814) 870-8016. Floor plans will also be provided in the specifications.
