CDBG MAP Grantee Training Services

The City of Geneva, New York is soliciting proposals for training (program delivery) services for a recently awarded Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Microenterprise Assistance Program (MAP) grant of $180,000 offered by the Office of Community Renewal (OCR).   MAP is designed to help units of local government to support economic development projects that result in the creation of permanent jobs, principally for persons from low- and moderate-income families, and that benefit low/moderate income business owners of microenterprises. The grant awarded to the City of Geneva is for $180,000 with $150,000 allocated for microenterprise assistance.   The City is soliciting proposals for program delivery services to assist the City in the implementation of this project in compliance with all applicable requirements under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Microenterprise Assistance Program (MAP) grant program offered by the Office of Community Renewal (OCR). Training services will be paid with (program delivery) grant funds.   Minority/Women Business Enterprises (M/WBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and/or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) respondents are strongly encouraged to participate.
