Electrical Service Contract (High & Low Voltage

The purpose of this request for bid is to solicit competitive sealed bids from qualified Contractors for Electrical Service that will include both high/low voltage and small network projects for the Canyons School District (CSD). This bid will be a multi-year awarded contract. Items of interest are going to be listed by line item. Please make sure that you fill out each line item and fill out the attached Excel file. It is anticipated that this RFB may result in a contract awarded to a qualified Contractor for commodities and services as defined further in the solicitation. This RFB is designed to provide interested Contractors with sufficient basic information to submit bids meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a bid's content or exclude any relevant or essential data. All bid preparation costs and any associated activities related to this RFB are the sole responsibility of the Contractor.    All solicitation responses must be submitted electronically through Ion Wave. All procurement-related inquiries relative to this bid must be submitted through the questions tab in Euna Procurement, powered by Ion Wave and will be answered through Euna Procurement, powered by Ion Wave up to the Q & A deadline.   Bids will be opened electronically within five (5) business days of the closing of the solicitation.     Eligibility Requirements:   The proposing Contractor must be properly licensed to do business in the State of Utah. Contractors are required to have been in business performing commercial related work for a minimum of 5 years. You must meet the districts insurance requirements. If required, you must be able to provide a Performance and Payment Bond for projects over $50,000.00. Contractors must have a physical brick & motor building within 70 miles of zip code 84070. Must be able to offer emergency services if needed. Contractor must be certified in Leviton, Siemens or Panduit structured cabling systems.   Supplier acknowledges that CSD reserves the right to make an award based on the grand total or sub-total (award to a single supplier or make a multiple supplier award).     Contract Period CSD intends to award a contract associated with this solicitation that will continue for one (1) year. Each bid must include an option whereby CSD, in its sole discretion, can extend the contract annually for up four (4) additional years on the same terms, prices, and conditions set forth in the bid. If the option is not exercised, then the contract shall automatically expire at the end of the contract term. Notice of exercise of the option must be given at least ninety (90) days prior to the end of the contract term.
