Right-of-Way Vegetation Maintenance Time and Material Contract 2027 - 2028 (24 months)

6.1 Furnish all labor, supervision, overhead, tools, transportation, equipment, and other resources necessary to perform electric utility right-of-way vegetation maintenance and clearing for CEC during 2027 and 2028 (24 months), as directed by CEC and in accordance with the Specifications. 6.2 Work may include pruning and removal of trees, mowing, stump grinding, debris handling and hauling, underbrush cutting, herbicide application, right-of-way clearing for new construction, storm/emergency response, and other vegetation-management work described in the Specifications or authorized by CEC. 6.3 Work shall be performed throughout CEC’s service territory and at locations designated by CEC. The service-area map is included in Section 20.0 of the Specifications. 6.4 This solicitation is for a time-and-materials contract. Labor classifications, base rates, markup, bill rates, overtime rates, and equipment rates shall be bid using the schedules in Sections 22.0 and 23.0 of the Specifications. Fuel adjustments, when applicable, shall be governed by Section 10.0 of the Specifications. 6.5 CEC does not guarantee a minimum quantity of work, hours, crews, equipment usage, or total contract value. Work will be assigned as needed and authorized by CEC. 6.6 FEMA-funded or potentially FEMA-reimbursable work may be assigned under this contract. Such work is subject to Section 16.0 of this RFP and any FEMA-specific written work authorization issued by CEC.
