Wastewater Treatment Plant Diffused Air Equipment and Blower

The City of Fairhope is accepting sealed bids for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Diffused Air Equipment and Blower. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 555 South Section Street, Fairhope, Alabama. The work includes providing fine bubble aeration equipment and a Positive Displacement or Hybrid blower for the existing Orbal Aeration basin. Bidders are encouraged to visit the project site individually on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Questions can be directed to Erin Wolfe, Purchasing Manager, via email at erin.wolfe@fairhopeal.gov. Answers to questions will be provided through an Addendum. A cashier's check or bid bond of at least five percent of the bid amount, not exceeding $10,000, must accompany proposals. Performance and Payment Bonds and proof of insurance will be required at contract signing. Bidding documents are available for download through Quest Construction Data Network for a fee of $22. Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the Engineer. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
