Salt Building Concrete Wall Replacement

Cuba Township Road District is seeking sealed bids for the Salt Building Concrete Wall Replacement project. Bids can be delivered by mail, overnight courier, or in person to the Cuba Township Road District at 28160 W Cuba Road, Barrington, Illinois 60010 by 11:00 AM CST on September 10th, 2026. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the same time by the Cuba Township Road Commissioner. Contractors interested in bidding can obtain the Bid Packages, which include Bidder's Instructions, Bid Proposal, Contract and General Conditions, Project Scope, and other related documents, electronically from Landmark Engineering Group, Inc. located at 2117 State Street, Suite 10, Bettendorf, IA 52722. These documents will be provided to qualified contractors upon request. All questions regarding the bid must be directed to the Engineer in writing or via email no later than three days before the bid opening. The Engineer will respond to all inquiries in writing to all registered qualified bidders. The project is expected to be awarded on September 15th, 2026, with a pre-construction meeting scheduled within 30 days. Work is anticipated to commence on or about October 15th, 2026, and must be completed by December 1st, 2026. The awarded contractor is required to self-perform at least 50% of the work. This project requires a 10% Bid Security and Performance & Payment Bonds as per Illinois law. It is also subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130). Cuba Township Road District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities or irregularities, and award the project to any qualified, responsive, and responsible contractor at their discretion.
