Prairie Park OSLAD Grant Renovations

The DeKalb Park District is seeking sealed proposals for the Prairie Park OSLAD Grant Renovations project in DeKalb, IL. Proposals must be submitted to the DeKalb Park District offices located at 1403 Sycamore Road, DeKalb, IL 60115 by 1:00 p.m. local time on September 10, 2026. At this time, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The scope of work includes asphalt paving, stamped concrete paving with integral color, flagstone pavers, limestone outcropping, and earthwork.Bid documents will be available from Accurate Repro, Inc.'s Planroom starting August 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Bidders can print or download plans. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids, and successful bidders should utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.This project is partially funded by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources through the OSLAD grant program. Compliance with the Illinois Works Apprenticeship Initiative and all applicable administrative rules is mandatory for successful contractors. A 10% bid surety must be submitted with proposals. Additionally, successful contractors must provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and proof of insurance after contract award. All contracts are subject to City of DeKalb regulations and require payment of DeKalb County's prevailing wage rate to all workers involved. Bids will remain firm for 60 days following the bid opening. The DeKalb Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the lowest responsible bid that serves the best interests of the Park District.
