Furgary Fishing Village/North Bay Park Planning and Design

The City of Hudson seeks proposals from qualified individuals or organizations to provide planning and design services for the City of Hudson, New York to complete the planning phase for a climate resilient waterfront park at the Furgary Fishing Village site in the city of Hudson, NY. The project will include public outreach and coordination with the City of Hudson, the NYSDEC’s Hudson River Estuary Program, and State and Federal Regulatory agencies and produce final planning documents and drawings suitable for permitting and construction. Scope/Deliverables: Project administration Community and partner engagement Document existing conditions Design of an accessible, climate resilient waterfront park at Furgary Fishing Village parcel Regulatory coordination of jurisdictional determination Environmental permits and reviews Graphic design Final report Qualifications:Qualified applicants should be consulting teams that include at least one NYS licensed engineer and landscape architect with experience with shoreline stabilization and climate resilient park design in tidal estuarine environments including designing fishing piers, kayak launches and open-air structures . Applicants should demonstrate experience/success with similar projects working with state agencies, permitting and public outreach.   Business enterprises awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: Assemblage Landscape Architecture, DPC Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) SDVOB Goal: 6.00%
