Notice is hereby given that CSX Transportation, Inc. (CSXT) will receive written sealed bids until the hour of 3 o’clock PM Eastern Time on September 11, 2026 for the removal of the following five abandoned overhead highway bridges (including their substructures) along two major rail corridors in New York State: (1) MP QG 26.14, Selkirk Sub, French Mills Road, Guilderland Center, Albany Co., NY (US DOT #508-697 J); (2) MP QG 28.49, Selkirk Sub, Old State Road, Guilderland, Albany Co., NY (US DOT #508-695 V); (3) MP QC 238.77, Mohawk Sub, Barnes Avenue, Utica, Oneida Co., NY (US DOT #512-660 B); (4) MP QC 255.43, Mohawk Sub, Brown Hoag Road, Rome, Oneida Co., NY (US DOT #512-558 V); and (5) MP QG 3.09, Castleton Sub, School House Road, Stuyvesant, Columbia Co., NY (US DOT #502-417 J). The POC will confirm receipt of all Bidder’s emails and document transfers within 24 hours of delivery.  Proposers are responsible for effective delivery by the deadline above and late submissions will be rejected without opening, consideration, or evaluation. The pre-bid meeting will begin at 9:00 AM Eastern Time at the south approach to Brown Hoag Road, Rome, Oneida Co., NY (43.181944, -75.518056). *ALL PRE-BID MEETING ATTENDEES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BRINGING PRINTED PLANS AND BID DOCUMENTS FOR THEIR USE. THERE WILL NOT BE PLANS OR BID DOCUMENTS PROVIDED AT THE PRE-BID MEETING. All those who attend the Pre-bid Meeting must be properly attired and geared with all necessary protective equipment including hard hat, safety glasses with side shields, laced steel-toed work boots at least 6” high, and hearing protection.
