Private Property Inflow and Infiltration Reduction - Residential Plumbing Contractors (Pipe Check Program)

The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to prequalify plumbing contractors to perform infiltration and inflow (I/I) reduction work on residential properties throughout the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (“District” or “MMSD”) service area. The Pipe Check Program (Program) provides financial incentives to property owners to take corrective action to repair defective laterals and eliminate other sources of clearwater I/I on private property. Property owners will initiate and contract with an Approved Contractor for qualifying work partially funded by the Pipe Check Program. The District may use the list of qualified contractors for other District Private Property Infiltration and Inflow (PPII) projects. Only contractors that meet the qualifications outlined in this RFQ and are approved by the District’s Contractor Evaluation Committee (CEC) will be listed in the District’s Pipe Check Approved Contractor List on the Program website (www.mmsd.com/PipeCheck). Each contractor will remain an Approved Contractor for a period of five years, provided the contractor remains in good standing with Program requirements.
