Sealed bids will be received by the Clerk of the Village of Cuyahoga Heights, State of Ohio at their office in the Cuyahoga Heights Village Hall, 4863 East 71st Street, until noon (12) o'clock, prevailing time Wednesday, September 2, 2026, for furnishing the necessary labor and materials for the Police Station HVAC Upgrades in Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio. The work must be completed in accordance with the Plans and Specifications available at the office of the Village Engineer, Donald G. Bohning & Associates, Inc. at 7979 Hub Parkway, Valley View, Ohio.Bidders are required to deposit sixty dollars ($60.00) for the Plans and Specifications, which is non-refundable. It is mandatory for bidders to use the printed forms provided upon application and to purchase a set of Plans and Specifications to be recognized as a plan holder of record. Each bid must clearly state the amount bid for both labor and materials and include the full name of the bidding party or parties. Additionally, each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond for the full amount of the bid or a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit equaling ten percent of the bid, as specified in Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code.The Bid Guarantee serves as assurance that if the bid proposal is accepted, a contract will be executed and the construction performance secured within the specified timeframe. Bid Guarantees will be retained until a contract is duly executed by the successful bidder. Bids, along with the Bid Guarantee, must be sealed in an envelope and clearly endorsed with the title Police Station HVAC Upgrades Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio. The Village of Cuyahoga Heights reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities, and accept any bid deemed most favorable, while disregarding nonconforming, incomplete, or conditional bids or counter proposals. The Village may conduct investigations to evaluate the qualifications, responsibility, and financial ability of the contractor or subcontractor to complete the work as per the contract documents to the Village's satisfaction within the prescribed time frame.
