Pedestrian And Radar Feedback Sign Improvement Project

The Borough of Rocky Hill is inviting bids for the Pedestrian and Radar Feedback Sign Improvement Project. The work includes the installation of pedestrian signs on Merritt Lane and Washington Street, supply and installation of flashing pedestrian signs, radar feedback signs, advance warning signs, installation of concrete sidewalk, and other miscellaneous restoration items. The project is funded by the New Jersey Department of Transportation Trust Fund.There will be a bid opening on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the office of Martucci Engineering LLC, located at 49 East Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. The bid opening will be conducted via Live-Stream, accessible from the Borough's website or through a Zoom meeting link provided at the time of the opening.Bidders must inspect the specifications and forms of bids prepared by Robert Martucci, P.E., at the office of Martucci Engineering, LLC. These documents can be inspected on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bidders must provide a one-day advance notice to obtain copies of the drawings and specifications, with a non-refundable cost of $75.00 (plus postage if mailed).Bids must be submitted on standard proposal forms, enclosed in sealed envelopes with the bidder's name and project title. Bids must include a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for at least 10% of the bid amount, not exceeding $20,000.00 or less than $500.00. Bids must be delivered by the specified time and date.Bidders are required to comply with all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act, and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid.
