Midvale Manhole Replacement Project

Sealed bids are being accepted for the construction of the Midvale Manhole Replacement Project. The work involves the removal and replacement of twenty-three sanitary sewer manholes, including the maintenance of flow, bypass pumping, backfill, surface restoration, and related appurtenances within the Village of Midvale and the Village of Barnhill.There will be no pre-bid meeting mentioned. Bidders are encouraged to review the bid requirements thoroughly.Bidders must register with the Tuscarawas County Metropolitan Sewer District (TCMSD) prior to bid opening and acknowledge receipt of all addenda. This can be done by requesting electronic bidding documents from TCMSD or by providing contact information if documents are obtained from another source.Bidding documents can be obtained in two formats: Electronic Sets are available free of charge via a secure OneDrive folder by emailing mjones@tcmsd.org. Hard Copy Sets can be purchased for a non-refundable fee of $100.00 per set from the TCMSD office.All bids must include a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond as per ORC Section 153.54, which can be a bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check for 10% of the bid. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates and statutory requirements for domestic steel usage.Bids are due by 10:15 AM local time on September 9, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time.
