9th Street Drainage Improvements

The project involves the construction of approximately 800 linear feet of storm sewer improvements. This includes pavement removal, grading, storm sewer construction, earth shoulder construction, seeding, erosion control, and other incidental work. The selected bidder will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, transportation, labor, materials, and incidentals required to complete the work according to the Contract Documents.Sealed bids must be mailed or delivered to the Palmyra Village Clerk. The bids will be publicly opened and read on September 9th at 2:00 p.m. and will be presented to the board for consideration at their regular meeting on September 10th. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked with the project name and addressed to the Palmyra Village Clerk at 425 C Street, Palmyra, Nebraska 68418.For any questions regarding the project, please contact Josh Keithley at Midwest Engineering, Inc. via email at jkeithley@midweste.com or by phone at (402) 786-2203. The bid documents and specifications are available for public inspection at Midwest Engineering, Inc. and the Palmyra Village Clerk's Office.Bid documents can also be obtained through QuestCDN Project No. 10329447 for a cost of $25.00 or from the Midwest Engineering, Inc. office for a cost of $60.00. Proposals must be submitted using the forms provided with the bid documents.Each bidder is required to submit bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Village of Palmyra, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five percent of the bid proposal. Bidders must also include an estimated start date and completion date for the project. The contractor will have 45 calendar days to complete the project, with a desired completion date of December 31, 2026. The Village of Palmyra is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
