Lease of Farmland

The Village of North Baltimore, Ohio is seeking written, sealed bids for the lease of approximately sixteen (16) acres of tillable farmland located in the SE ¼ of Section 34, Henry Township, adjacent to New Maplewood Cemetery and reserved for future cemetery expansion. The property is designated for grain farming purposes only; no animals are permitted, and no equipment may be parked or stored on the property. The lease will be for one (1) crop year, starting December 1, 2026, and concluding November 30, 2027. Bids must be submitted on a price-per-acre basis and should be received by noon on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Village of North Baltimore Municipal Offices, located at 205 N. Main St., North Baltimore, Ohio. The annual rent will be calculated based on the accepted per-acre bid price for sixteen (16) acres. A payment of twenty-five percent (25%) of the annual rent is due by June 1, 2027, with the remaining balance due by November 1, 2027. Bids will be publicly opened and read at noon on September 23, 2026, in the Village of North Baltimore Council Chambers at the same address. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
