2026 Catch Basin Cleaning Project

Notice is hereby given by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Brookfield, Illinois that bid proposals will be received for the 2026 Catch Basin Cleaning Project. This project involves the removal of debris and cleaning of drainage structures at various locations within the Village of Brookfield. Sealed bids must be submitted by 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the Village Hall located at 8820 Brookfield Avenue, Brookfield, Illinois. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the same time and location. Electronic copies of the bidding documents, including the bid proposal and project specifications, can be obtained from Edwin Hancock Engineering Co. at 9933 Roosevelt Road, Westchester, Illinois 60154. Interested bidders may request the documents by emailing info@ehancock.com. Note that no bidding documents will be issued after 4:30 P.M. on August 31, 2026, and a non-refundable fee of $15.00 is required to obtain these documents. Proposals will only be accepted from bidders who have acquired the bidding documents from Edwin Hancock Engineering Company. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least 5% of the total bid amount as a guarantee for contract performance. Checks should be made payable to the Order of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Brookfield. Bids not accompanied by the required bond or check will not be considered. Bidders may request interpretations of the bidding documents, and any substantive interpretations will be issued as a written addendum by the Village. It is the bidder's responsibility to obtain all addenda issued. Compliance with all regulations under the Prevailing Wage Act and other applicable labor standards is required. The Village reserves the right to determine the lowest responsible bidder, waive irregularities, and reject any or all proposals.
