Lift Station #552 Point Repairs

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS  PLAQUEMINES PARISH PROJECT NO: 26-09-02LIFT STATION #552 POINT REPAIRS Plaquemines Parish Engineering and Public Works (herein referred to as the “Owner”) by virtue of and in conformity with the provisions of Act 70 of the 1946 Regular Session of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, as amended, and other applicable laws, sealed bids marked “Sealed Bid – Parish of Plaquemines – (LIFT STATION #552 POINT REPAIRS, Parish Project No. 26-09-02) will be received by the Owner for the construction of the project described as follows:  LIFT STATION #552 POINT REPAIRS                  Parish Project No. 26-09-02 Proposals shall be addressed to the Parish of Plaquemines, and delivered to the Engineering Office, 333 F. Edward Hebert Blvd., Building 500, Belle Chasse, LA 70037 not later than 10:00 a.m., on the _22nd_ day of _September, 2026. Any bid received after the specified time and date will not be considered.  The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 a.m. on the __22nd__ day of _ September, 2026, in the Engineering Office conference room at 333 F. Edward Hebert Blvd., Bldg. 500 Belle Chasse, LA 70037.  The Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the Office of the Engineer for the contract; High Tide Consultants, LLC., 8311 Hwy. 23, Suite 102 B, Belle Chasse, Louisiana 70037, (Phone # 985-446-1110). Copies may be obtained at this office upon receipt of a deposit of $300. This deposit will be refunded upon request in accordance with R.S. 38:2212 if documents are returned within 10 calendar days of bid opening and are in good condition (no marks or tears).  Validation of the Contractor’s license and classifications will be made prior to release of bid documents. Bids for this project may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com.  Pursuant to Louisiana Revised Statutes 38:2212 (A)(1)(F) and 38:2212 (B)(4) vendors/contractors now have the option to submit their bids and bid bonds electronically. If you need help registering or with completing an e‐bid, please call 833‐412‐5717. Contractors submitting bids shall be licensed under LA License R.S. 37:2150-2164, Building Construction. Other license classifications may, at the option of the Owner, be considered based upon a thorough review of the Contractor’s past experience.  The bidder shall show his license number on the bid and on the sealed envelope submitting the bid. Work shall include furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for roof and window repair and replacement, along with exterior and interior repairs of the existing brick building, all as shown on the plans and in the specifications.  There will be a Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for bidders at the Plaquemines Parish Engineering Office on __Thursday_, _September 10__, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Sub-contractors and suppliers are also welcome to attend. Physical street address: 333 F. Edward Hebert Blvd., Bldg. 500, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. In accordance with R.S. 38:2212 (A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements stated in the Advertisement for Bids and those required on the Bid Form shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, provided on the specified form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.  Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U. S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact the Parish of Plaquemines no later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening.      PLAQUEMINES PARISH GOVERNMENT    BY: W.
