Hendry County Health Department Wind Mitigation

Hendry County is soliciting sealed bids from qualified, licensed contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, permitting, inspections, and incidentals necessary to complete wind mitigation improvements at the Hendry County Health Department located at 1140 Pratt Boulevard, LaBelle, Florida. The work generally consists of replacement of approximately 2,450 square feet of soffit assemblies, installation of wind-resistant soffit vents and related components, removal of existing plexiglass protecting the stained-glass window, installation of an approved storm protection system for the stained-glass window, restoration of disturbed areas, and all accessories, and incidentals necessary to provide a complete Installation in accordance with the Contract Documents. This project is funded, in part, through the Florida Division of Emergency Management Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP DR-4337); therefore, local vendor preference shall not apply. All applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and requirements shall apply.
