Citywide Tree Pruning And Removal

The City of Union City is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors to complete the project CITYWIDE TREE PRUNING AND REMOVAL. Instructions and requirements for completing a bid are described within the Request for Proposal (RFP).  Contractors submitting a proposal will submit it to the office of the City Clerk of the City of Union City, City Government Building, 34009 Alvarado-Niles Road, Union City, California, until Thursday, September 10, 2026, 2:00PM PST, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Council Chambers of said building. General Work Description: The work to be done, in general, consists of tree pruning services with a small allowance for tree removal and emergency call out work.  As the City’s annual tree maintenance contract, the project duration is two years, with the possibility of being extended up to three times for a period of one additional year. The Engineer’s Estimate for the project base is Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000) annually.
