Septic System and Leachfield Project

Centura Public Schools is initiating a project for a septic system and leachfield at the Centura School campus located at 201 N. Hwy 11 in Cairo, Nebraska. Contractors who wish to submit a bid for this project can obtain plans and specifications from W Design Associates, located at 2626 West 2nd Street, Hastings, Nebraska 68901. A deposit of $60.00 is required for each printed plan set, with fifty percent of the deposit refunded for each set returned in good condition within ten days after the bid date. Electronic copies of the plans and specifications are available at no cost and can be requested by contacting Breanna Spitz at 402-463-2377 or via email at breanna@wdesignea.com.Sealed bids must be submitted by 2:00 P.M. local time on September 9, 2026, at the office of the Superintendent, located at 201 N. Hwy 11. Bids will be opened and read aloud at that time. All bids must utilize the forms provided with the specifications prepared by W Design Associates, Architects and Engineers. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened and will not be considered. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening without the consent of Centura Public Schools for a period of 30 days following the scheduled closing time. The school reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding process. Each bid must include 5% bid security, either in the form of a bond or cashier's check, as evidence that the successful bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner. Performance and payment bonds will be required for this contract.
