Alterations to RSA 11 Water Street, 19th Floor

Sealed bids are being accepted from qualified General Contractors at the 8th Floor RSA Real Estate Office Conference Room, 11 N. Water Street, Suite 8245, Mobile AL 36602 until 2 PM (local time) on September 24, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly thereafter. The work involves alterations to the RSA 11 Water Street, 19th Floor in Mobile, Alabama. Bid documents can be examined at the Office of the Architect and various Plan Rooms. To obtain the bid documents, contact the Architect via email at plans@partnerarch.com starting September 8, 2026. Note that partial sets of documents will not be available. Bidders must be licensed under Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, and this must be indicated on the bid envelope for it to be opened. Additionally, bidders for work involving fire alarm systems must comply with the Alabama Certified Fire Alarm Systems Act and provide evidence of required licensure and State Fire Marshal permitting. A pre-bid conference will be held on September 15, 2026, at 2 PM (local time) at the same location to review the project and answer any questions from bidders. Attendance is highly recommended for all General Contract Bidders intending to submit a bid. A cashier's check or bid bond of at least five percent of the bid amount, not exceeding $10,000, must accompany the bid and secure it for at least 60 days. Conditional bids will be rejected, and a list of major subcontractors must accompany the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds are required if the award exceeds $50,000, along with evidence of insurance. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to reject all bids and waive irregularities.
