Professional Goat Grazing Services for Vegetation Management at Elkhorn Regional Park

The County of Yolo invites qualified organizations to submit responses to this Request for Information (RFI) regarding the provision of professional goat grazing services for vegetation management at Elkhorn Regional Park, located at 1889 Old River Road, West Sacrament, CA 95691.  Yolo County is seeking targeted grazing services to control, and overgrowth of the native plant California grape (Vitis Californica) and potentially other invasive species present within the park.  Implementing flash grazing will assist the County in better assessing existing site conditions to support future project planning and habitat restoration efforts.  Additionally, reducing the overgrowth of California grape will help mitigate potential fire risks. This RFI is solely for informational and planning purposes to evaluate available service options.  It does not constitute a commitment or obligation by the County of Yolo to contract for any services nor will any contract be awarded as a result of this solicitation.
