Rotary Pool Facility Renovation Project

The City of Charleston is seeking sealed bids for the Rotary Pool Facility renovation project, which includes the furnishing of all materials and labor necessary for the work. The project involves the repair and recoating of all three swimming pools at the facility, including surface preparation and painting of the concrete pool surfaces. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on September 8, 2026, at the City of Charleston office. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. The contract documents can be examined at the offices of the engineer during normal business hours. Only registered plan holders who obtain documents from the engineer may submit bids. A payment of $50 is required for a complete set of bid documents in PDF format, which will be emailed. Hard copies of the documents can be obtained for $100 each. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Rotary Pool Site. Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check of 10%, and a contract bond for 100% of the contract price will be required for contract performance. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
