City of Charleston Rotary Pool Facility Renovation Project

The City of Charleston is seeking sealed bids for the renovation of the Rotary Pool Facility located in Charleston, Coles County, Illinois. This project involves the repair and recoating of three swimming pools, including the Main, Slide, and Zero Depth pools. The work includes thorough surface preparation, high-pressure power washing, removal of existing coatings, and application of a 3-coat epoxy system on all interior surfaces. Bidders must register and obtain documents from the Engineer, Berns, Clancy and Associates, to be eligible to submit bids. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Rotary Pool Site. Bids must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on September 8, 2026, at the City of Charleston office. Each bid must include a Bid Bond or certified check for 10% of the bid amount. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any formalities. Bids may be held for up to 90 days for review and qualification purposes.
